Participate in a planning discussion.

Accept a proposal.
Provide Traveller or booking information.
Provide or approve a Booking Authority.
Participate in Assisted Booking or Managed Booking.

Otherwise communicate with us.
Where one person is coordinating travel for a group, we may receive information about other Travellers from that person.
We may also receive information generated through Supplier bookings, such as booking confirmations, reference numbers and transaction details.
Limited technical information may be collected automatically when you use our website, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring website and general interaction data.
How We Use Personal Information

Where Managed Booking requires payment information, that information will only be used for transactions authorised by you.
You may be asked to provide or approve information during a dedicated Booking Window so that it can be entered directly into the relevant Supplier's booking system.
Somewhere by Design will not intentionally retain card verification or security codes, such as CVV or CVC numbers, after the transaction for which they were provided has been authorised.
Full payment-card details are not intended to form part of our ordinary customer records.
You should not send card details, card security codes, banking passwords, online-account passwords or one-time authentication codes by ordinary email unless Somewhere by Design has specifically provided or approved an appropriate method for the relevant transaction.
Your bank, card provider or Supplier may require you to complete authentication directly, including through SMS, a banking application or another security process.

When Managed Booking is provided, you authorise Somewhere by Design to provide the relevant Traveller information to the Supplier where reasonably necessary to complete a booking that falls within your agreed Booking Authority.
We aim to disclose only the information reasonably required for the relevant purpose.
Travel Suppliers and Third Parties
Travel Suppliers operate independently from Somewhere by Design and have their own privacy practices.
Where information is provided to a Supplier for a booking, the Supplier may collect, use, store and disclose that information according to its own privacy policy, booking terms and applicable laws.
You should review a Supplier's privacy information where this is important to you.
Somewhere by Design does not control how an independent Supplier handles information once that Supplier has lawfully received it.
Overseas Disclosure and Processing
Travel is inherently international, and personal information may sometimes need to be provided to recipients outside Australia.
For example, where Managed Booking is provided, Traveller information may be disclosed to an airline, hotel, transport provider, activity provider or other Supplier located in, operating in or processing information in another country.
The countries involved will depend on your itinerary, the Suppliers selected and their technology or processing arrangements.
In addition, service providers used by Somewhere by Design, including Squarespace and Microsoft, may process or store information outside Australia.
Privacy and data-protection laws in other countries may differ from Australian law.
Where applicable, we take reasonable steps in relation to the way personal information is disclosed and handled overseas.
